FOSS for All Conference 2026

About FOSS for All Conference

Learn how FOSS for All Conference differs from other open source communities and what direction it aims to take.

The second edition of FOSS for All Conference is a non-profit open source community conference organized by the non-profit organization FOSS for All, with the goal of creating “an open source conference for everyone.”

In Korea, large global open source projects such as Python, Golang, Ubuntu, OpenStack, and Kubernetes can organize their own conferences by forming organizing teams and recruiting sponsors. Smaller open source projects, however, often face difficulties organizing technical exchange events. FOSS for All Conference began with the goal of contributing to the sustainable growth of Korea’s open source ecosystem by creating a conference where open source projects across many fields, especially smaller but important projects, can gather.

FOSS for All Conference is open to anyone interested in open source software and communities. All operations are made possible through corporate sponsorships, individual donations, and volunteer participation. We keep participation fees as low as possible so that anyone can join without burden, and we maintain an open and voluntary spirit in line with the philosophy of free and open source software, without commercial purpose.

Anything Open Source

FOSS for All Conference is not limited to a narrow audience such as a specific open source project, job role, or industry. Just as open source is everywhere today, this conference brings together diverse topics and diverse people around one shared interest: open source.

Whether the topic is web development, embedded development, IT infrastructure deployment and operations, open source community management, documentation, project governance, or open source licensing, anything related to open source can be discussed here. It is a place where people from many backgrounds and roles share their experiences and knowledge, with programs including technical talks, community booths, panel discussions, and more.

Who Attends?

Anyone participating in the open source ecosystem is welcome, so the audience is truly diverse. The following groups are especially common among attendees.
